Here at AWD we don’t miss a trick, we thought we’d jump on the ‘Brexit’ bandwagon and have a bit of fun redesigning the British passport. Each of the stampable pages celebrates a different region and industry: Birmingham - machinery, Blackpool - tourism, Cambridge - science and City of London - finance.
Inspiration for this project comes from William Morris, Edward Johnston, the 1951 Festival of Britain and contemporaries Jonathan Barnbrook and Brian Webb. For those of you who are a bit more geeky like us, you’ll be keen to know the designs use specifically chosen typefaces for each region and the advanced brush and pattern building options in Adobe Illustrator. (By the way just because we did this project doesn’t mean we voted ‘LEAVE’!)
